1. Scope and Provider
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Shopify app EU Warranty Label(hereinafter "the App"), provided by:

By installing or using the App, you ("Merchant") agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not install or use the App.
2. Description of the App
EU Warranty Label is a Shopify app that assists merchants in displaying EU statutory warranty and manufacturer guarantee labels on their Shopify store product pages, in accordance with EU Implementing Regulation 2025/1960 (Annexes I and II).
The App is a technical tool only. It does not constitute legal advice and does not guarantee legal compliance. See our Disclaimer for details.
3. Eligibility and Account
The App is available to Shopify merchants who have a valid Shopify account. By installing the App, you confirm that you have the authority to bind your business to these Terms. The App is distributed via the Shopify App Store; Shopify's own Partner Agreement and App Store terms apply in addition to these Terms.
4. Plans and Billing
The App is available in two plans:
- FREE plan: Available at no charge. Includes up to 50 products, German and English label language, and the statutory warranty label.
- PRO plan: Charged at $9.99 per month (billed through Shopify Billing). Includes unlimited products, all 23 EU official languages, and the voluntary manufacturer guarantee label.
All billing is processed exclusively by Shopify Inc. through the Shopify Billing API. Charges are shown and confirmed within the Shopify admin before activation. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from within the App or through the Shopify admin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods, unless required by applicable law.
5. Merchant Obligations
By using the App, you agree to:
- Provide accurate product information (guarantee years, manufacturer name, model)
- Correctly classify products as subject to or exempt from EU labelling requirements
- Use the App only in connection with a legitimate Shopify store
- Not attempt to circumvent the App's billing or feature gating mechanisms
- Comply with all applicable EU regulations, including EU Implementing Regulation 2025/1960, independently of the App's functionality
6. No Legal Advice / No Compliance Guarantee
The App is a technical tool. It does not constitute legal advice and does not guarantee that your use of it will make your store legally compliant with EU Implementing Regulation 2025/1960 or any other applicable law. 7. Intellectual Property
All rights, title and interest in and to the App (excluding label content mandated by EU law, which is in the public domain) are owned by Engin Ucar. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App solely in connection with your Shopify store during the subscription term.
8. Availability and Support
We aim to keep the App available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The App depends on third-party infrastructure (Shopify, Fly.io, Supabase) and may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, outages, or factors outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to fines, penalties, loss of revenue, or damages resulting from regulatory non-compliance. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
10. Termination
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. Upon uninstallation, your subscription (if any) will be cancelled and all stored shop data will be deleted within 48 hours.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The current Terms are always available at this URL.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is Duisburg, Germany, to the extent permitted by law. EU consumer protection law applicable in the merchant's country of residence remains unaffected.
